personally welcome pete kember to the list, aka sonic boom. sonic was
a founding member of spacemen 3, put together spectrum in the early
90's, and has been diligently making electronic records and performing
as EAR (experimental audio research) for the past several years.
sonic has a nice serge setup, visible on at least a few EAR LPs, all
of which are available on spaceage recordings. i personally own
several dozen of sonic's recordings and look forward to his
contributions to the list.
also: i just got off the phone with rex, who informs me that panels
are indeed shipping and that STS is bustling. he arrived permanently
at his new digs in february, thinking that panels wouldn't be shipping
for six months, so its nice to hear he's ahead of schedule. tim
curtis from the analogue heaven list has been recruited on the front
lines and it sounds like rex is lucky to have him aboard.
