I'm partial to PCO's + Dual Comparators instead of NTO's. The PWM
effect from the variable wave is not as rich as the PCO/COMP combo,
IMO. Plus, you only take up 5 one-inch spaces with 2 PCO's + one
Dual Comp. vs 2 NTO's.
I love BOTH the Waveshaper and Wave Multiplier. They both hae very
distinctive sounds. The advantge of the Wave Mult is that, indeed,
the effect is more "intense", plus the upper section can double as
an extra VCA if so desired.
Not a bad idea 'bout 2 filters, as the combination of 2 or more BP
filters is excellent for vocal-formant synthesis.
How about a ring modulator?
