Serge Circuit Board ID Needed

2002-07-30 by phix_it

Those of you; like myself, who have been "under the hood" of a Serge
Modular know that most of the circuit boards have names such as Quad
Pan 104A or NTO/CON 107A. Does anyone here know which module the
Board "Hex Filter" is from? An accompanying schematic would also of
use. I have a PCB layout of the board yet have never come across one
in all the Serge's I've worked on. I'm doing my best to have a
COMPLETE understading of ALL the modules Serge made and this board
has created a mystery.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.....Sincerely Dean.

P.S. Dare I mention this... but I'll be a specific as possible so at
to not offend or confuse anyone !!! I too have some CLONE SERGE RACK
EARS I'd gladly sell to anyone (worldwide). Indeed they are CLONES
made from a 1980's model Serge. Being almost 50% thicker than a true
Serge rack ear (.07 inches rather than .053 inches) they can by no
means be called "flimsy" and are pre drilled and ready to mounted
onto a Serge box. Don't have a box? I also have a few rack boxes
SIMILAR to the SERGE rack boxes but also improved upon. Threaded
inserts allow installation/removal of the rack ears without having to
remove the panel from the box to hold the internal nuts. The panels
mount to the box with threaded inserts ( not the little black clips
that fall off and get lost). Finally the boxes are made of a heavier
gauge of aluminium making them "less flimsy". Anyone interested
should E-Mail me directly. No point in cloggin up the user group
bandwidth. Enough people already manage to do that..... unneccesarily.

Cheers....Dean Batute, phix_it@...
