Michael Stearn's system is not Kevin
Braheny's. Kevin's was meant to be used in a nearly horizontal position,
with its three dimensional curved case allowing easy reach of all panels.
Stearn's is more traditional. Possibly the same number of panels, but
in a case that extends mostly vertically. I can't completely remember
what kind of faceplates Kevin had, but it seemed that they were custom, possibly
black single-piece anodized aluminum. It was, shall I say, far out?

HMMMMM..... To be honest, the instrument in these pics does not look
like the mighty I saw on the Keyboard mag article. First of all, in
the KB Mighty the curved rows of panels were not parallel to each
other, but slightly at an angle, so they would "wrap" around the
player. Second, the top panels had what seemed to be a silkscreening
of the painting of a nude man floating (or is he kicking a soccer
ball? Not clear). Anyway, I'll keep looking through my old magazine
collection. If I find it, I'll let you guys know.
