All about the Roland Jupiter-series

Hi Matt, have you tried the Europa Upgrade? This
totally transforms the synth. But the JP-6 is still
great as it is. I believe you simply turn down the LFO
mod sliders in each section it can modify the signal
of; that is, in the VCO MOD section under LFO, in the
VCF section under LFO, and in the VCA section under
LFO MOD. Have these settings at zero or set at their
lowest and you should have turned the LFO-1 off.

Hi John,

Thanks for the advice. I know about the Europa but i'm waiting until I can 
afford to buy it.

I have tried "zeroing" the lfo slider on all modules but it seems to keep 
going? Very strange as my other synths dont do this and from what i've 
heard the Europa doesn't effect LFO.

I have a printed manual but it doesn't go into much detail for this area. I 
might contact my local synth tech about installing the upgrade and doing a 
service too.
