LFO Slider problems

LFO Slider problems

2003-10-17 by flashthedog2000

I found a problem to my Jupiter 4. The LFO Slider does not work very
well. It sometimes works, and is sometimes stuck at the highest
value. So the sound is completely distorted.

Does anyone know if it is possible to find another similar slider to
replace it? What is the model number I sould look for?

It’s probably just dirty and could use a good cleaning. Alternately, Roland still stocks them, so give them a call. I paid about $5.00US each when I bought some for my JP-4 less that a year ago.

Thanks for the info. Did you directly call Roland in your country?
Do you have the model number for the slider, so that I could
directly tell them?

Unfortunately, I can’t locate the paperwork so I don’t have the part number. I did call Roland US directly, and they were able to help. I bought some spares, so if you want, I could sell you a couple.  ($5.00 ea. plus shipping)

Regards,

Daniel

Thanks for the proposition! I will first give it a good cleaning and
see if it works better. If not, I will contact you.
