After a much needed tune up of Module C on my JP-4, I'm regretting the =
fact that I just auctioned it off! :-( I had to sell it though, I need =
the cash. BUT, since I've got a Jupiter 8 on the way, I don't feel so =
bad. Here is my question. Having never played an 8, and only hearing =
the "oh it's in this song, and that song" blah blah blah, I want to know =
from someone who's owned both; how similar is the tone of the 8 to the =
4? Yes, I know 8 voices vs. 4 voices, blah blah...but the overall =
character of the sound is what I'm looking for. Will the 8 sound like =
the 4 at all? How do the filters stack up against one another (I know =
the 8 is switchable between 12 & 24)...I'm just looking for some comfort =
in the fact that I had to sell off a synth I loved...(sigh)

Not much need for any of us here to comfort you in these dark hours
of "No-Jupiter".
Once the JP-8 arrives and you have it turned on, it will do all that
and more. You'll soon forget the days when you had to find your
solace in the bottle. Hell, you won't even remember where you left
it! :-))
Does it sound like the JP-4? Duh... what JP-4?
