Kenton MIDI kit or Encore MIDI kit - which one is 'best' for a Jupiter-8?

Hello Group -
I have recently taken ownership of a pre-DCB Jupiter-8 that I would
like to retrofit with a MIDI interface. I understand that Kenton and
Encore make two of the best MIDI interfaces available for this synth.
I would like to solicit the opinions of this group. I realize
that 'best' is subjective and will come down to whatever kit suits my
needs better but I'm hoping that the group can weigh in on this issue
and provide some insight from personal experience here. If anyone
here has either one of these kits and could tell of their experience,
the cost and the usability of the MIDI retrofit I would appreciate it
very much.
