Hi list,

thanks for the input re: concussor noise.

In the middle of a recording session my Jupiter 6
output started distorting. . . through the output and
through the phones.  Problem gets alot worse when
playing chords and anything with low frequency.

This is the first time my Jp6 has acted up, so I
guess, unfortunately, its time for service has come
up.  Depressing.  Anyway, does anybody on the list
have a clue what could be wrong?  I searched the
archives but didn't come up with much.

The only other odd thing about my Jp6 is it is way out
of tune, but that has been the case for over a year
now.

Normalize the VCA to "0"
If that doesn't work, turn the output on the back to M, its probably on H.
And if that doesn't work, check your mixer or speakers...at LF and with RES
it can distort easily
