Well, to start off with, after six harrowing hours last night indoors
soldering and drilling holes in metal and stuff (instead of running around
in the snow shopping for Christmas like some normal person), I'm happy to
say I now have an Encore MIDI-enabled Jupiter-8.  Yay!

But I had some questions...  At the end of the installation, Encore
suggests that you do a warm reset to the unit, and they give you the
control panel button combination that does the job.  The method they give
only resets the MIDI implant though, not the JP-8 itself.

Now, I'm not in any particular need of a global reset -- it seems to be
working just fine without one -- but I was just curious...is there one?
Anybody out there with a JP-8 service manual know how to reset the whole
board?  I thought it might be nice to know...thanks.
