Subject: [AH] Jupiter-8 part needed
I am looking for Roland part number 15229802
generally called: BA662A or B (I'd prefer the B
or 2 A's if that would work)
This is a VCA Roland SIP IC.
Roland US said they don't have any.
Any help would be appreciated in locating the chip,
a junk 052H270 module pcb, or other jupiter pcb with
the part on it.
Nothing like having one VCO out of 16 not working. :-(
FYI, this is a pre-DCB jupe.
Another question: Does anyone know if this part is different
from the other 2 listed in the service manual...
BA662A (VF selected) white dot only
BA662A (Offset selected) color dot
I didn't quite get the difference.
thanks.
