All about the Roland Jupiter-series

This is a VCA Roland SIP IC.

Roland US said they don't have any.

Any help would be appreciated in locating the chip,
a junk 052H270 module pcb, or other jupiter pcb with
the part on it.

Nothing like having one VCO out of 16 not working. :-(

FYI, this is a pre-DCB jupe.

Another question: Does anyone know if this part is different
from the other 2 listed in the service manual...

BA662A (VF selected) white dot only
BA662A (Offset selected) color dot

I didn't quite get the difference.

Almost all Junos, Jupiters, JXs, SHs, MCs use the BA662 as VCA. Just find a
cheap Juno and rip the guts out of it. (Don't know if they're version 'A' or
'B'). Maybe someone else can shine a light on this.
