for around $5. I bought a whole pile of them to use with my
MIDI-retrofitted
synths. I drill pilot holes with a template then use a 3/8"-to-3/4"
stepped "Uni-bit" to open the hole up to the proper diameter. The
results look very professional. You can see a picture of my P5 install

it looks far better than using individual panel-mount MIDI jacks.
While I haven't installed the JP8-MK MIDI kit, I've installed Tony's
OBX kit, and installation was easy and straight forward. A good bit
easier than the Kenton kits. The only part even a tad bit challenging
is mounting the MIDI jacks. You should have no problem.
