Poly and Omni means the MIDI modes, eg. Poly to receive on a specific channel, Onmi to receive on all channels. You can't change this on the panel or the MPG-80, only with MIDI messages (so says the manual and I also found no other way to do this). > >>2. The classic local off means a disconnection between the keyboard and the voice engines. The MKS-80 has no keyboard, so the guy may ask for a mode in which panel changes will be sent to MIDI without affecting the current patch.
