cuz i had a bitch of a time to find something that documented this problem..
and gave solutions for it (beyond just references to the 'jp6 click') with
midiwall and others down...

Yep it was the release that I noticed the most. I actually used this noise
as a part of a bass line a while ago in a song. I couldn't find the bass
line .wav file but I still have the song so I chopped a bit of it out that
just has the bass line and another bleep also made by the jupiter. Both the
bass and bleep sound have a clearly audible buzz at the release stage. I the
recreated the song as best I could using my JP6 after the mod:

before: (recorded on SB-32 so there is a little more ambient hiss)

Just concentrate on the note releases not the timbres and ambient hiss if
you can.
