       Personally, I'd pick either the CS-60 or SH-5 over the Jupiter 6. The

CS-60 is a flexible and rich sounding polysynth (I don't know if there are 
any MIDI kits for it if that concerns you), closest thing to a CS-80  you
can 
get without having to pay for a CS-80. Even given my dislike of things

I must concede that the SH-5 is a very nice sounding feature laden mono,
only 
things I might pick over it monosynth wise would be a like a Yamaha 
CS-10/15/30, Pro 1 or maybe...a 2600 hehe.
     I think the Jupiter 6 is disappointing sonically, and I find I'm not
the 
only person who feels that way. I was really hyped up to try one and when I 
finally did I was pretty let down. Not much animation in the oscillators,
and 
the multimode filter though cool doesn't have quite the bite I'd like
anyhow. 
It is rather unique at any rate, Jupiter 6's seem to be love or hate sorts
of 
synths, so I suppose you'd have to try that one yourself.
