RIP for Epson R3000

RIP for Epson R3000

2011-10-20 by Janet

I am looking to print on roll paper to lengths up to 144" long. I was told that a RIP program would allow me to override the drivers that come on the Epson R3000 and allow me to print at these lengths. Can anyone tell me if this will work? Thanks for the help

Hello,
how does one adjust the platen gap when printing with QTR?

Thanks,
Richard

Richard, I assume you are asking about a larger printer that generally has that option available? I'd try the menu on the printer itself, and possibly assume that if QTR has no platen gap commands sent with the print data, the front panel menu settings will not be overridden..
I'm guessing of course
