How does one delete specific curves that he has added to the qtr Mac
driver?

Couple of quadtone questions old-time newbie...

Okay, here's a couple of oldbie/newbie questions

Basically, for a number of reasons, I haven't used QTR for so long it's
all changed...!

So:

1. You don't necessarily need to use three curves - you can just use
say 2? (as well, is there much need to fiddle with the Split Tone Curve
Blending if you are just aiming for a slightly warm above neutral print
for example? or just unchecked it and leave the
highlight/midtone/shadow sliders linked?)

2. Do you still need to apply the QTR matte/glossy profiles in photo
shop etc? Or do we just use straight gamma 2.2 files now? (couldn't see
anything in the existing documentation?)

so yep - it's been a while....

RE: [QuadtoneRIP]Print solar/posterization

Hello All,

I have an old Quadtone ink 3000 set-up in another room that I slowly
progressing on.

I tried a print tweaked with BWorks Heavy Sky filter.

Some of the tones are reversed. Specifically, like the black didn't print.

The epson driver printed it OK.

Do I have to watch for something like (I dunno) dynamic range when run an
image through Quadtone RIP?

The image was digital sRGB capture and it looks to be a 256 color RGB now.
Did this filter mess-up the colorspace or did I just give Quadtone a
defective image??

Any feedback would be useful.

In CurveDesign folder find the alias "CurveDropBox"...double click on that and the curves will
be in their respective printer folder.

You can use 1, 2 or 3 curves. If you don't want split-tone just
on-click it
so all 3 sliders move together. I'd start this way anyway -- just
modify
when you see a real need.

Yes, still apply the QTR Matte/Photo profiles for best match.

No problem.
