QTR-Quadtone RIP

Hi
For the longest time I have been using 2.2e & loved it, especially 
with a none/none setting for curve selection. I recently upgraded to 
the newest version & see I'm not allowed to run a none/none. None/None 
was a marvelous tone set on a 2200 for neutral almost Carbon appearing 
prints. How do I duplicate in on the new version?
2nd Question. on neither version can I take a 6x9 file & reduce it 2 
70% & position it in the top & bottom of a portrait oriented paper. It 
seems to allow it but after you push print it switches back to 
landscape. I'm doing this abomeration as a test so I can get 2 images 
on a side for comparison.
2nd question isn't as important as the 1st tho....

Hi Andy,
check if options->auto orientation is checked
