Hi all,Printing with Print-Tool 1.1.0, I wonder if the Media Type setting - Photo Paper / Matte Paper - or the Black Ink setting - Installed / Matte Ink / Photo Ink - will actually change how the printer will print.E.g., would the Ink setting affect the dithering, or conflict a different setting on the machine?I'm using custom paper settings, with defined paper type, platen gap, feed A adjustment and drying time. Thanks for your help.Stefan

So Print-Tool's dialog boxes set the QTR driver. Some active settings (resolution, manual rear feed, dither, etc…), some inactive settings (Black Ink, Media Type). Thanks for clarifying. Going around all the settings, I just noticed my "Color Matching" is on Color Sync!!! When "System Managed" is checked, I thought it should be grayed and inactive with QuadToneRIP locked in it, and I stopped checking it every time I print. Have things changed or am I going crazy? Could the new Print-Tool download have affected the 1.1.0 version? Stefan.

The Color Sync / QuadToneRIP choice must have always been present, of course. My mistake. But Print-Tool 1 remembers Print-Tool 2 settings, with Last Used Settings as preset… They must share some .plist? Maybe a Color Matching reminder could be added in Print-Tool's right panel, in the Print Color Management section, if you do a next version? It could be useful for dreamy people... Stefan
