(See http://www.paulroark.com/BW-Info/R1800.htm) The problem with that is that with only MK, the smoothness is a bit less than you might want if you like grainless skies, etc. I consider the 7600 a modern printer in terms of its cart design and drop size. So, it's a good one for wide format B&W. I use Carbon-6 (user mixed Eboni-6) as the main ink in my 7800. It's 100% carbon for the ultimate in lightfastness and image stability.
