Right now I am getting 1.54 Max, but some times I am getting ink overloading which is a function of the ink max settings in the profile. In the interest of getting a few prints out I adjusted the advanced settings in the print dialog. I do remember that when I created an entire profile before (from scratch) all the numbers came within a hair of the profile that comes with QTR. I may go ahead and do the first strip test in calibration mode when printing and see where the K max falls. Part of my problem is that Lightroom is ProPhotoRGB which is 1.8 gamma. I had a conversion profile sitting on the LR print profile that "recurved" the output to 2.2. That file no longer seems to work as before. So I have a few issues rolling at me at the same time... I am going to do the MAX adjustment this AM. The 3800 can produce wonderful QTR prints Howard and you should go it a try.
