QTR-Quadtone RIP

GREETINGS GROUP,

I have to first admit that I do not use QTR on a daily basis, but I do
find it to be very useful in my printing workflow. I have developed
some curve combinations for specific customers and they find the
consistency to be very helpful, since they can depend on the results
completely. Having said all of that, I do have one question.  I'm sure
this has probably come up before, but this is the first time I have
experienced the problem. A couple of days ago I was printing a 24x36
with QTR and had to replace an ink cart that had finally expired. I
did so, expecting that the printer would simply pick up from that
location and finish the print, as usual. However, that did not happen.
I waited for 5 minutes and still nothing, so I finally shut down the
driver and started the print again. Since it was about 75% of the way
through the print, I was NOT happy about the situation. As I
mentioned, this has probably been covered already, but I haven't seen
that posting. Please inform whether there is a work around to this
problem, or perhaps something I forgot to set in the driver before
starting the print. Thanks in advance for your interest and help.
