QTR-Quadtone RIP

Just encountered the following bug(?)

I just upgraded from v2.5.0 to 2.5.2.0 (and later 2.5.2.1). To my 
surprise the curve creation was disabled. I could select "curve 
creation" of the "tools" tab in the main menu and could edit curves, 
but only save the .qidf files. The "create curve" button that's 
usually there now read "show curve" and I "save" option under 
the "file" tab was grayed out. 

My system: PC, windows XP-Pro, Epson 2100.

I DID select the curve creation tools when installing. I re-did the 
installation several times, on two different machines, including a 
QTR cleanout. But without result. Updating to 2.5.2.1 did not make 
any difference

I went back to version 2.5.1 and everything is fine again. So no 
urgent problem for me anymore, but thought I'd report it.
