Hello John. What I have done in the past is to use cleaning carts and, instead of using cleaning cycles, just turn on the ink positions you want to clear, using the QTR curve creation facility, while leaving all the others off. Then, with cleaning carts in place, print patches of 100% until the heads are emptied of the normal inks. Replace the cleaning carts with new inks and print patches again until new ink is flowing well. It sounds like a hassle but it's not as bad as it sounds and it has no impact on the other ink positions and uses none of them. By the way, you could do the same thing you are doing with the E'boni and use the Photo black in all 3 positions if high gloss is what you are interested in and you don't want matt papers. You also could try using just 2 blacks and leaving the glop in. There are lots of variations and they all have potential.
