Check to see what type of compression is on the file. The new program likes
to use a ZIP and some programs don't get it. I have not tried it with QTR,
but check that out.

Do you have the extension of .tif on the file name?

This moves the raw source file on disk only. The archive index is not changed automatically, so you still need to run a manual refresh afterward.
