QTR-Quadtone RIP

Yesterday I downloaded QTR.  Everything seems to be in the right
place.  QTR 
appears in Print Center.  The problem is that nothing happens when I
press print.  I 
don't even get an error message.  The printer is connected via USB. 
It works fine 
using  the standard driver.  I have tried everything.  I can't think
of anything  more to 
do.  Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated.
