Again if speed is your issue, then probably not. If you consider these dialogs redundant, then perhaps QTR is not for you. What it can do is give you greater control over the tones in your b&w images. It is this that gives the improvement to your images. Obviously, with this control, goes an obvious higher level of interaction, which cab be "time consuming". Hence you might find it all redundant. > Is it a standalone program? That depends on the OS. If you have read the manual, then you should know the answer to this. Give it a go, but, IMHO, you have to understand what it does to appreciate the benefits it can give you. Judging by the questions you have asked, it sounds like you want something more automated, which QTR is not. Steve
