There was a problem with OS X 10.3 Panther and the 4000 USB but I don't
know of any issue if you are runnin 10.4 Tiger (which I assume you are running
since you have Lightroom).

This moves the raw source file on disk only. The archive index is not changed automatically, so you still need to run a manual refresh afterward.
