RE: [QuadtoneRIP] QTR & Lightroom

Roy can speak for himself. I for one do not have the knowledge to write a
Windows "printer" driver which is what is required.

Have you tried "print to file" (I don't know if Lightroom supports that) and
have QTRgui monitor the folder? This works well for me with Qimage which is the
printing program I prefer.

Subject: [QuadtoneRIP] QTR & Lightroom

Roy & Stephen,

Last week I purchased Lightroom (after having extensively used the beta
vesions). Although it can't replace Photoshop, I really like this tool, partly
as photoeditor, but mainly as file management and presentation tool. I'm
currently revisiting my workflow to make optimal use of it.

Now the impossibility to print directly from an application to QTR (I'm on
windows) is becoming much more of an issue than it used to be. Is this something
you foresee in a future release? Or (although I have seen several such
implementations in the past) is there a fundamental hurdle?

Joost
