Re: [QuadtoneRIP] Help please - is Mac QTR different

2006-12-14 by Paul Banks

Dear All

I find this all very confusing. I assummed (incorrectly) that QTR would be the same in both Windows and Mac.

I have just managed to print the Tutorial. As I already have a license for QTR and paid my $50 fee some time ago, do I still require a passord to install it? When I install updates on Windows, I can't ever recall having to enter passwords as it states in the Mac Tutorial.

I was under the impression Macs are supposed to be easier than PC's!!

Paul

There are 2 separate programs working together under Windows - QuadToneRip
and QTRGui, which gives you that GUI window. QTRGui is Windows-only, so
you're running QTR by itself without the GUI front end.
