Fred, We could use a little more info. Most importantly, do you want to use a matte or glossy paper? Will you be using QTR or Paul's curves? Cold or warm tone prints? How important is the permanence of the image? The advise to spend some time on Paul's site as well as the digital black and white board is good. You might also want to check out Clayton Jone's site. It includes his subjective ratings of a variety of papers.
