QTR-Quadtone RIP

I am new to this group and this question may have been answered in the
past.  My apologies.

I have an Epson 1280 with a CIS system that I have been using for both
color and b/w printing.  To date, I have been using the single black
ink supply for all of my b/w printing.  I intend to purchase a second
1280, dedicated to b/w printing, using the CIS bulk system with MIS
Quadtone inks.

I am an experienced printer, both black/white and color.

I am about to embark on a very large printing project for a revised
portfolio.  I need to purchase paper and ink.  It was suggested by my
supplier (Inkjetart in Salt Lake City) that I visit the MIS web site
to research software for b/w printing.  There, under "Black and White
Printing Requirements" there is commentary to the effect that "Only
Epson printers are supported. Many are profiled for several papers and
are ready-to-go."  I cannot find any specific information on this site
as to which papers are supported by this software.

My preference would be to purchase a paper/ink combination that is
known to perform well with the MIS inks using the CIS system.  Of
course, I understand that paper qualities are subjective, but I would
prefer to not reinvent the wheel if at all possible.

Does anyone have information about this?
