Thank you for the answers. Seems like we have different problems with the same
banding. I use MIS Eboni for matte black and UC epson for the other cartidges, with the
UC profile by quadtone rip installed for my epson 2100 (european version of the 2200). 
And I just reanimate my printer, cause for an year the black nozzles have been clogged. 
But now I print  perfectly with BO printing and MIS Eboni at 2880 dpi (like I did before the 
clog), without banding at all. I just have the problem with UC profiles by quadtone rip
at 1440 dpi. I don't know hot to made my own profiles. And I prefer the b&w from 
quadtone rip, more neutral and smooth, so I'd like to figure out the problem.
