Hi Howard,
what do you intend about switching to 2880dpi profiles? which one did you
use for the 2200?
I have the same problem as you, I tried to print at 2880, the problem disappears
but the prints have a really darker tones, while at 1440 super (without super the banding 
increased) it was identical to my monitor.
