I bought a p800 six months ago and was initially quite upset I could not do piezography with it. Now I have tuned print flows both for normal printing and digital negatives for silver and both are working great with stock inks at least to my eye(and I am next moving on to kalltypes/pt printing). One note: if you import a p800 from Europe or Taiwan you can still use 3d party inks so if you really care that is one route you can go.
