Ian,
I'm not sure what you are doing because I took your data from the post,
put it in a txt file and ran it through QTR-Linearize-Data and it worked just fine.
The program automatically sorts the data by the L* values (or Gray values if
they exist).
It looks like a perfectly good set of data. Simply copy paste the LINEARIZE
line from the output into the curve desc file (.txt)

I then dropped that file onto the QTR-Linearize-Data.app script which created an -out.txt file which is where I see
