QTR-Quadtone RIP

I printed a picture using QTR Rip; after the print, I found that it was lacking some contrast and the tree should be lighter (_DSC1666); without changing a thing on the printer, I made the correction and what I got out (_DSC1667) was badly "solarized".

I removed the sheet and sent another print command; the picture went out fine (_DSC1668).

What happened??? The nozzle check was fine.
