That is correct. The Epson Driver is bypassed when printing with QTR.. What sort of problems are you having and with what printer? I can't recall if on Mac or PC there, but what curves are you using for the gloss printing on the Epson Exhibition Fiber (and what gloss overprint settings are you using)?
Maybe we can sort out where the monkey spanner is here...
