If you have a really low resolution image (less than 200-240 maybe) you may want to upsample
using Photoshop or some special technique so you can sharpen or whatever afterward.
But as long as you have decent resolution I'd just pass the image in as is -- 463ppi would be just fine.
On the way to dithering QTR driver will be up sampling to 720ppi regardless of what you send.

Thinking about resizing a little more, Jon Cone advised me to set DPI in the image and let QTR sort it out. I have been using PK Sharpener to set the DPI by telling it the print size. This gives me odd numbers like 463DPI. Can QTR use any number or does it resize to one of the multiples like 360, 480 or whatever?
