Those are messages from the printer itself.
I'm not sure this is the issue -- but worth thinking about. The printer has 2 black inks -
a matte and a photo black. Switching blacks is done automatically and takes extra
ink. In the Epson driver this is done by what paper you select. In QTR there's specific
selector for this -- you have to pick it. You have to be aware of changing this or else
you can waste a lot of ink.
