While operation of the Model 24's two primary functions (Stepped Random and Smooth Random) is intuitive and fully indepentent of one another (two independent random voltages simultaneously, each having it's own control of speed, center point and vertical displacement), some of the it's secondary uses may not be as obvious to the new user and have been diagramed on the M24 page of the EAR site.
