From: Plan B (Peter Grenader) <peter@ear-group.net> Date: Thu, 12 Oct 2006 22:57:48 -0700 Subject: Corrective Action request - Cliff CL1384 Gentlemen, I hope this letter finds you well. It seems we're getting bad CL1384 jacks into our lots again. Our Yahoogroup is littered with complaints in the past couple of days. Some of these comments are listed here (below). Could you get back to me with any information you may have that I can provide my customers with assurance that this issue has been addressed? Any actions you are pursuing via either design modifications or process control to monitor that the spring retention issue is corrected and not back as it was a few years ago. I would appreciate this. Many of my customers are long-time Doepfer and Analogue Systems customers as well. They waded through the retension issue of a few years ago with these other lines. I do not want them have to go through this again and they need (and deserve) assurances that they won't. I always remind myself that the money they paid for these products was good...it wasn't defective. It goes to follow that the goods they purchase with these funds should be equally as functional. It's compelling arguement when put this way. Here are some of the comment we've received in just two days: (I put a few of the quotes here from the various letters on this list.) Respectfully submitted, - P _________________ Peter Grenader w: http://www.ear-group.net e: peter@ear-group.net p: 866 755-4468 (toll free)
