It's arrived

It's arrived

2005-12-01 by David Salter

I am now the proud owner of a Model 15 VCO.

It arrived yesterday and on stripping a few modules out of my rack to
mount it (having checked the daughter board was fitted OK) fed the each
of the wave outs into a mixer and where possible compared them with my
A110, RS90 & RS95 waveforms. Very nice, different enough to add
something new. Next up tried various permutations of the morph output by
feeding either M15 outputs, lfo's, eg's etc. Again very usable with some
wonderful rich tones.

Now the interesting bits;
M15 waveforms into sync. Peter's correct there is defiantly a tone an
octave up present, very cool.

This VCO is so much better than any of the sound files I have heard
today. So rich and vibrant.

Over the 4.5 hours I played with this I was never tempted to route it
through a filter it really is a versatile beast. Using it with the rest
of the system starts tonight :)

Peter, at times the wait was frustrating to say the least but it was
defiantly worth it. So much so I'm going to order a second one.
