Model 15 and Model 12

Model 15 and Model 12

2005-10-22 by okiikahuna

I just got back from visiting our good friend Peter Grenader and
brought home two Model 15 oscilators and a Model 12 filter. These
things rock. The Plan B filter has a bass end that sounds a lot like
an overdriven Moog filter with certain settings. I have posted a quick
mp3 to show you what I mean. (excuse the playing, its just an example,
played straight to hard drive with no effects, etc.)
In higher registers, the filter has a very unique sound, sounds much
less like a Moog, in my opinion. (For me, this is preferable, since
I've got a mini as well as Doepfer and AS Moog knockoffs) I'll try to
post some sound examples of this later.
In the meantime, Peter is obviously working hard at getting the rest of
the orders out. I have been waiting some time, but the wait has been
worth it. This is obviously a boutique business.

By the way, Peter says his email is down, but should come back on line
shortly.

The EARs would like to thank Stevie "Wonder" Mattern for the
funk. Sounds great!
