Doepfer and Plan B spec

Doepfer and Plan B spec

2009-03-31 by aliisvorbach

from Peter Grenader:

The Zero case has two shells. One meets the Doepfer depth spec of 4.25 inches - this is the shell which will have the rails installed in the basic unit. The other shell which will be offered as an option to the user is a bit shallower, so while most of the Euro modules out there are well under that limit, some are at that limit and won't be able to be mounted in the bottom three rows. given that each row is good for 128 HP I don't think this will be to much of a limitation.

Does anyone know if Doepfer modules will fit in tthe proposed plan B suitcase...curious to know if theres any prob with depth.
I would also like to know how we are to asertain the new plan B spec from the earlier modules that may still be sold with cliffs jacks and other differences/revisions? I would also like to know how far away a plan B power supply is or was I reading wrong and it was all a dream? Was something not mentioned about complete Plan B systems a while ago.
Also if theres any users of Doepfer reading.... can someone share with me there opinions on The Doepfer A111 high end VCO.

Thanks all,
