Model 21 MIlton - News Update
2005-08-03 by (i think you can figure that out)
Holy Gads! It's not even out yet and it's changing already! Thank heavens I said 'preliminary'. I will notice that the functionality of the proposed 3RU Milton has changed - and it still may. Gone is the analog switch which will tie banks together - there are already excellent (and affordable) offerings from Doepfer and Analogue Systems which will do this. Instead, I've fittedthe Model 21 with VERTICAL SEQUENCING and a long-overdue processing pot for the external VC input. Some of these additions are born from a collaboration which you'll know more about soon enough and some ...well, they just needed to happen since the unit was released some two years back. As far as vertical sequencing, it's screaming for a touch plate scheme and I ask you for a moment to not focus so much on the text here, but more the spaces in between the lines of text (!). There may be more changes yet. I'm presently conducting a feasability study on a forth bank. There are other things brewing. I'm not gong to bore you all with updates every single instant, but suggest you keep your eye on the model 21 page at the EAR site instead: http://www.ear-group.com/model_21.html - P
