MODEL 10 Dead LFO FUNCTION - PLEASE READ

MODEL 10 Dead LFO FUNCTION - PLEASE READ

2008-11-14 by (i think you can figure that out)

We have received a number of M10's back and in turn a few blog missles regarding a
dead recycle (LFO) mode, While I cannot speak for users who did not elect to return
theirs, in ALL cases for those who did D4 (diode 4) was blown, meaning an external
Trigger was inserted while the unit was in self oscillation.

This is a dangerous habit. Please recycle reasponsibly...LOL!

One of my M10s doesn't self cycle, but I force it to by using the EOC
output to trigger it again. I had thought the switch went bad, is it
possible or likely that D4 is blown on my M10 as well?

Peter

As I asked earlier is there anything electrical that can be done to stop
this?
