Model 30 Demos?

Model 30 Demos?

2008-08-19 by Mark Landman

I realize that Plan B has been extraordinarily busy prepping the elf line roll-out, but Im
curious if there are any demos of the new Model 30 digital osc. ready to share yet?

There was a lot of interesting discussion on it a while back, which whetted my appetite.

Best-

Mark

Me too - I'm dying to hear what it sounds like!

It''s very refreshing and exciting to see someone actually release a new original idea
instead of the the usual copy of someone else's work from the 60's and 70's.

I'm guessing the 30 is not going to be exactly cheap so I'd like to know if I should start
saving my money for it now. Some demos please!

I had one in my hands....it wasn't finished yet, but from what I saw
and Peter told me, the M30 is my next oscillator(s). Looked very
tastey...

I can't wait for the M30! The only other "oscillators" I want are the
Livewire ones, but who knows when they'll go into a second run. :(
The M30...will be out, and from what I saw not too far off.

I'm itching to hear this aswell..!

I see there's a lot of current excitement about the AFG that I must be missing because it
just doesn't seem all that groundbreaking or innovative to me. I checked out LW's and
hex's demos and fail to really hear anything new or unique. Sure a lot of extreme chiche
PWM/animator and FM sounds. I couldn't get too excited because hasn't everyone been
making those *same* sounds for decades?

Or is it those mysterious "Alien Saws", "Anti-Matter" waveforms, "Laboratory Sines", etc? ;-
) I'm sure I'm missing it but what's the big deal about the AFG?

As you can suspect, the Elfs are taking a lot of cycles right now but
Phil G and I have been discussing M30 demos and will be meeting this
w/e to discuss them in more details F2F.

Thought I would bring this up again... I'm really curious about this
oscillator!
