Buchlidian arch
2008-01-15 by (i think you can figure that out)
The nice thing about arcing the front is it keeps everything a basically the same focal point and cuts the vertical dimension considerably. this cabinet fits three rows ans sits 11 1/2 inches high. I also thought it was a nice touch for this specific case as it's reminiscent of the 200's they once had. here's a shot of it before painting/puddy/sanding: http://www.ear-group.net/cab.jpg Amy Knoles - CIA faculty and long-time member of the fabled California E.A.R. Unit (http://www.earunit.org/) made a pretty funny comment when she saw me lugging the thing in from the parking lot. it's about 45 pounds once fully assembled. Started off easy but towards the end I probably looked like one of the ants from A Bugs Life when they were fetching the Spring Offering: "You know, you can do that with software now and it won't screw up your back" THAT was good larf.
