Tuesday is my 51st. Preliminary data indicates this really sucks. Looking forward to my father's annual 'what's your five-year business plan, when I was your age I acted like it' speech. Gift ideas: A) Adding four hours to each day B) Britney's latest CD C) Reliable Cliff Jacks da-da da da, to meeeeeeeeeeeee... - P

Happ B-day, Peter! As my grandfather used to say: "Gettin' old ain't for sissies!" That being said, 50 is the new 40. You're not old, just seasoned! And PLEASE, do not act your age! If being a musical sound designing elf who never grows up completely is your thang, MORE POWER TO YE!! The only adult requirements are to take care of yourself, your family and your business. Other 'n that, all bets are off! Enjoy life! You're making great music and great instruments! Guys - Thanks for the well-wishes! Have a few things planned, none of which involve claiming my free meal at Denny's i'm happy to say. Schrader happens to be in town today so we're going out for a Thai early then (the weird one) an ex g/f phoned and wants some time, we're meeting at a joint in Hollywood late. Scratching my head on that one, but hey, I"ll let anyone buy my a drink. So if you never hear from me again it didn't go as planned. - P

"none of which involve claiming my free meal at Denny's" That's good as I heard they are no longer doing this! One birthday a few years back I was heading home from a trip and decided to go get my free lunch and was denied! The waitress said they stopped doing that years ago. I couldn't believe it - it was like the end of an era that you didn't realized passed. Thai is great, a drink even better. Have a good one. cheers, matrix http://matrixsynth.blogspot.com
